Not much protection if one hunts alone! My dad many years ago got accidentally shot in the shoulder while hunting alone. Almost bled to death getting back to his home!
Yep, Paul, you always got to play what If; what if this happens, what if that happens, (my dear dad taught us that) , and be ready for it, and letting somebody know where you're hunting is one of the first rules.
Nothing like that could ever happen to me. Says me. Until it happens.
